Dear Friends,
Graduation for the Acton-Boxborough High School Class of 2010 is fast approaching—a time of celebration, high hopes and lasting memories.
For the 21st consecutive year, seniors will be invited to Project Graduation, an all-night, substance-free party for ABRHS seniors only, at the High School on Friday, June 4th from 10 PM to 5 AM. As in past years, the theme will be a well-kept secret and the Award Winning decorations (in 2007) promise to wow! This event boasts a variety of activities and entertainment including a DJ, hypnotist, games, crafts, and much more. In addition, food is served and prizes & scholarships are awarded. As always, adult volunteers will chaperone.
Project Graduation is being planned to ensure a fun and safe evening for ABRHS seniors. Historically, it has been a graduation gift to them from the Acton-Boxborough community. This is a totally self-supporting program sponsored by the PTSO; we receive no funding from the school budget. It is only through the generosity of parents, townspeople, the Acton-Boxborough business community and many other generous businesses surrounding Acton & Boxborough that we have been able to host Project Graduation for the past 21 years.
In keeping with prior years, our goal is to raise $15,000-$18,000 to cover the expenses associated with Project Graduation. We hope you will join with your fellow members in the business community and demonstrate your support of this event by making a financial contribution. Please fill in the information below and mail it along with your check made payable to ABRPTSO-Project Graduation.
The 2010 Project Graduation offers sponsorship at several different levels. We appreciate your thoughtfulness as you consider a level of sponsorship that is comfortable for you. We are grateful that the Acton-Boxborough community and surrounding area businesses have traditionally endorsed our efforts to provide a safe environment in which seniors can celebrate graduation night. Thank you for helping us to continue this endeavor.
Sincerely,
Roberta Gongwer and Michelle Nagel, Fundraising Co-chairs
Laurel Dickson-Bull and Sheila Hanrahan, 2010 Project Graduation Co-chairs
